Coding Challenge #2 (You Pick)

YOU PICK (Deadline 01/08/2008)

For our second challenge, we are letting you decide. We want to see what you can come up with. This will be conducted on the honor system. In 2 hours or less, come up with something for either the web or a windows application. The program can be in any language you choose. The only rule is it has to be done in less than 2 hours. Lets see what you've got.

IpTray

Most simply, a task tray icon that displays TX/RX of the most recent packet. Unfortunately, it chews some CPU time because DoEvents() eats time like no other.

Look in the comments in Program.cs for all information, packet_stuff.cs is NOT mine. its reused code.

Coding Challenge #1 (DotNetNuke Module)

Sponsor Logo Rotator: (Deadline 01/08/09 midnight)

Create a logo rotator for our sponsor section.

Some ideas may be a 3D carousel. Ferris Wheel Style? The Price is Right Wheel? Get creative! The most creative version of this will be the winner. Want to try Silverlight? WPF? What a better way even if you are not a big visual person.

Requirements and Rules:

Module must be able to perform in the same space as the current sponsor module (Images are up to 205px wide)
Module must be packaged into a standard DotNetNuke module package and ready for upload.
